Brain Test's incredibly tricky riddles
Tricky riddles are designed to trick players by taking advantage of ingrained assumptions and thinking habits.
- No Logic: The answer is often not in common knowledge, mathematics, or physics. If you try to apply academic logic, you will fail. For example, in the riddle question to find the number of holes in a shirt, you will count the holes, but forget to count the collar, sleeves, and the bottom hole of the shirt.
- The trick is in the small details: The answer can be a hidden element, an obscured element, or the wording itself in the question.
Take advantage of physical interaction and phone features
This is what makes Brain Test different from traditional puzzle games. Players must interact with their device in unexpected ways:
Use Fingers (Drag, Drop, Pinch):
- Players need to drag objects on the screen to find hidden objects or create a new path.
- You need to pinch two fingers to enlarge or shrink an object (e.g., make a ball bigger so it doesn't fall through a hole).
- Drag two objects closer together to combine them into a new object (e.g., drag a cloud closer to the sun to make it rain).
Use Devices (Shake, Tilt, Flip):
- Shake: Shake the phone to drop objects, wake up the character, or cause an event in the level.
- Flip: Flip the phone upside down to change gravity, make water flow backward, or make a character "blood flow to the brain" to help them think.
There is a hint system to help when stuck.
- One of the things that makes this brain game friendly and accessible to all players is the smart hint system. When you encounter a puzzle that is too brain-twisting or a situation that makes you struggle to find the answer, the Hint button will be the savior to help you find the right direction.
- Each hint is usually presented briefly and concisely; it can be a phrase, a small illustration, or a trick that suggests a different way of thinking. Although the answer is not completely revealed, the hint is enough for you to realize that the game not only tests IQ, but also encourages creativity and the ability to observe details.
- Players can get hints by watching ads or using accumulated bonus points. This creates an interesting balance: you can choose to test yourself to the end, or use a lifebuoy when you are really stuck.
