Long Board Crasher
Long Board Crasher is a casual racing game. You need to master your skateboard on long stretches of track, hurtling down steep slopes at high speed.
Long Board Crasher - Game Mechanics
Your mission is to safely guide both stickmen to the finish line to complete the level. Along the way, you'll face a series of obstacles such as markers, rocks, and barriers that can cause the skateboard to break at any time.
The game's unique feature lies in the mechanism of both boards rotating in a circular motion. You must skillfully utilize this rotation to dodge obstacles and keep both characters stable.
Control and Braking
In Longboard Crasher, maintaining balance and controlling the direction of the skateboard is crucial to avoid obstacles and move smoothly on the ramp.
There are three main braking techniques on a longboard:
- Foot braking: This is the easiest way to stop at low speeds. Players simply place their back foot on the ground and gently drag it to reduce speed or come to a complete stop.
- Sliding Braking: Suitable for medium speeds, this technique involves creating sharp S-shaped curves by bending the knees and quickly shifting weight from the toes to the heels. The friction generated by these curves helps reduce speed. However, care must be taken not to slide too sharply at high speeds, as this can lead to loss of balance.
- Sliding: This is the most effective method for stopping at high speeds. This technique requires more practice and is often used in freeride and downhill riding styles.
