Cookie Clicker 2's addictive gameplay

You start by clicking on a giant cookie to create your first cookies. With the cookies you earn, you can buy upgrades to speed up production, from automated mouse cursors to baker grannies to factories, banks, and even space travel to produce cookies.

This is an incremental game, meaning the number of cookies you create increases exponentially, allowing you to buy bigger and bigger upgrades.

Upgrade and Correlation System

Upgrades

There are three main types of upgrades:

• Direct Upgrades: Increase the performance of a specific type of building. For example, "Grandma's Cookies" will double the amount of cookies the grandmas produce.
• Global Upgrades: Increase the performance of all buildings at once. For example, "Universal Production" can increase your overall CPS by 5%.
• Prestige Upgrades: These are special upgrades that can only be purchased after you reset the game. They provide permanent and extremely powerful benefits for the next playthrough.

Synergy

This system links building types together, creating a complex production network. An upgrade to one building can increase the performance of another.

When you buy an upgrade like Grandma's Legacy, it not only makes Grandma produce faster, but it also increases the performance of all the mouse pointers you've bought.
