Block Puzzle Legend is a classic puzzle game that takes you through challenging levels. This game is a great way to relax as well as exercise your brain.
The mechanics of Block Puzzle Legend are easy to grasp, but achieving high scores and maintaining the game for a long time is an art:
You will be provided with various blocks (with many different shapes, similar to Tetris pieces but not rotating) at the bottom of the screen. Your task is to drag and drop these blocks into the 8x8 or 10x10 playing grid (depending on the game version).
When you create a horizontal or vertical row full of squares, that row/column will "explode" and disappear, freeing up space on the board.
The game has no time limit (in classic mode), your goal is to score as many points as possible. The game ends when you have no more space on the grid to place any of the next blocks provided.
Many new players tend to place small blocks in the corners immediately to save space. However, this can hinder you later when you need to place larger or more complex blocks.
Try to keep a row or column empty (especially the bottom row or outermost column) for as long as possible. This will give you a runway to place larger or more difficult blocks as they come along. When needed, you can destroy that row/column to free up space immediately.
When you place blocks, try not to leave isolated empty spaces, especially in the center of the board. These 1x1 holes are difficult to fill, since most blocks are at least 2 squares long. When you are stuck with many small holes, you will quickly run out of space.
