Maximize Corn
- Unique Product: Unlike other farm games that have a variety of crops and livestock, Corn Tycoon focuses entirely on corn. Every decision and upgrade is aimed at producing more corn, faster, and selling it for a higher price.
- Empire Development: Players start with small fields and must manually click to sow, water, and harvest. The ultimate goal is to turn this humble farm into a money-printing agricultural empire where corn is produced in huge quantities.
Evolution from Clicker to Idle
Clicker Phase: Players must actively interact by clicking continuously to perform basic actions such as planting, watering, and harvesting. This is the only way to earn money initially.
Idle Phase: The money earned will be invested in automation:
- Buy and upgrade machines (seeders, irrigation systems, harvesters) to do the work automatically.
- Buy trucks to automatically transport and sell corn to the market.
- Once automation is complete, the player switches to the role of a tycoon, focusing on management, upgrading and expansion instead of manual work.
Unlimited Upgrades and Expansion
The theme of this game is exponential growth:
Resource Management:
- Must constantly upgrade to keep up with the speed of corn production and ensure abundant water for new fields.
- Upgrade the speed and capacity of trucks so that corn is sold quickly, avoiding the situation of product inventory.
- After reaching a certain threshold, you can start over to get permanent items or rewards that make the next round much faster and more efficient. This allows players to constantly break their own records and reach larger monetary milestones (millions, billions, trillions).
The Core Loop
The gameplay follows a three-step repetitive cycle: Production -> Sales -> Upgrades.
Early Manual Production Phase
Manual Planting and Harvesting: Players start with a few empty plots of land. To earn money, you have to repeatedly click on the field to perform actions: sow seeds -> water -> harvest corn. The goal is to earn enough money to buy the first automation tools.
Idle Development Phase
- When money is available, players invest in machines and workers to automate the production process. Seeders, Irrigators, Harvesters: These tools will automatically perform the planting and harvesting steps without the player clicking anymore.
- The goal is for the player to move from labor to management and optimization. Income becomes passive and continues to increase even when you do not interact directly.
