Earn to Die is a popular action, driving and car upgrading game series, developed and published by Not Doppler (originally by Toffee Games for the web version).
The main story of Earn to Die takes place in a zombie apocalypse. Players are stranded in a desert or zombie-infested area, with a broken-down car and little cash. Your mission is to drive through the zombies to safety. You will drive your car through hordes of zombies, crashing, crushing, and shooting them. Each time you hit a zombie, your car will slow down, and the goal is to go as far as possible in each turn. As you drive and kill zombies, you will earn money. This money is then used to upgrade your car. Upgrades include:
Other details: Including cosmetic parts or increased crash ability.
As you progress, you will be able to unlock new vehicles, from compact race cars to large trucks or even school buses, each with their own characteristics and upgrade possibilities.
Don't focus on just one type of upgrade. A powerful car needs a balance between speed, durability, and zombie-killing ability. For example, a fast but weak car will break down easily, while a durable but slow car won't go far.
Early on, money isn't much. Upgrading weapons or boosters (like nitro) will be expensive and not as effective as focusing on movement. Once you've covered a fair amount of distance, start investing in them to increase your zombie-killing efficiency and overcome large obstacles.
Use nitro strategic. Use it to get through difficult sections, dense zombie crowds, or to gain momentum for long jumps. Don't waste it on empty roads or when the car is at maximum speed.
When jumping over ramps or obstacles, try to adjust the car to land on all four wheels. This helps the car maintain speed, minimize damage and avoid flipping. Use the controls to tilt the car in the air.
