Orbital Entropy is a strategy game that takes players on a mysterious and challenging journey through space, where order and chaos collide in every orbit.
The player's task is to control small planets in space into stable orbits around larger planets to score points and complete the level.
The player will see one or more stationary large planets and one or more small planets that you need to control. You will also see obstacles or other targets that may appear. You will choose one of your small planets to launch.
When launching the planet, you will see a line that shows you the direction the planet will fly when you launch it. Take this opportunity to align the angles so that you can adjust the thrust when launching the planet. The stronger your thrust, the faster and farther the planet will fly.
After you adjust the direction and force to your liking, you will perform the launch operation by tapping on the screen and releasing. As the planet flies up, it will be affected by the gravity of nearby larger planets. This gravity will bend the planet's flight path, forming an orbit.
You will score points when your planet flies into a stable orbit around a larger planet. A stable orbit means that the planet will continue to orbit the larger planet without falling into or flying too far away. You will complete the level when you have successfully launched all the smaller planets into stable orbits and achieved the required score (if any).
Simple example:
Imagine there is a large planet in the middle of the screen. You have a small planet on one side. You need to launch this small planet so that it orbits the large planet in a nice circle without getting sucked in or flying too far away. You will have to adjust the launch direction slightly up or down, as well as the power to create that circular orbit.
