Rainbow Friends is a prominent survival horror game on the Roblox platform, attracting a large number of players thanks to its creepy and engaging gameplay.

Rainbow Friends Story

You and other players are on a normal bus trip when you suddenly get lost and crash at a mysterious amusement park called Odd World or a similar location, like a factory or laboratory (depending on the chapter). Here, you will have to face colorful monsters called Rainbow Friends.

Rainbow Friends Gameplay

Your main goal is to survive for several nights (usually 5 nights) by completing assigned tasks, while avoiding the pursuit of Rainbow Friends.

Completing Missions

Each night, players will be asked to collect certain items (such as blocks, batteries, light boxes, etc.) and bring them to the gathering point to advance.

Escape

When Rainbow Friends appear, you must quickly find a hiding place, usually by using a cardboard box to hide yourself.

Rainbow Friends

The most special and attractive feature of the game is the main monsters, each with a different color, shape, and chasing mechanism:

  • Blue: Usually the first monster to appear. He wanders around the map and can catch you if he sees you are not hiding in a box.
  • Green: A tall monster, usually blind. He walks around with long arms and can catch you, even if you are in a box, if you touch his arm.
  • Orange: A small, agile beast, usually kept in a separate area. He only appears for a short time and needs to be "fed" (usually by collecting food) to avoid losing control and hunting more fiercely.
  • Purple: A monster that hides in ventilation ducts or holes in the floor. You must avoid these holes when you hear its noise.
  • Red: Usually not a monster hunter in the early chapters, but the one who gives you quests.
  • Yellow, Cyan, and other characters are introduced in the following chapters (Chapter 2, 3...) with their own mechanics.
