Cut the Rope 2 is the sequel to the popular physics puzzle game series. You'll continue your journey with the adorable green monster Om Nom, who has an endless passion for candy. Your mission is to get the candy to Om Nom by cutting the rope at the right time.

Game Objectives of Cut the Rope 2

In every stage, your mission is to:

Guide the candy carefully into Om Nom’s mouth without losing it.
Gather all three stars scattered across the level
Prevent the candy from dropping off the screen
Finish the puzzle using as few retries as possible

It sounds simple, but to get 3 stars, you have to calculate a more complex path than the basic way to complete the level.

Basic Gameplay of Cut the Rope 2

Cutting the Rope at the Right Time

Just drag your mouse across the rope on a computer or tap the screen on a mobile device to slice it. Once the rope is cut, the candy reacts naturally to physics - it may drop straight down, swing back and forth, or bounce off surfaces depending on its position and momentum.

Cutting at the wrong time can cause the candy to fall off course or miss the star.

Using Air Bubbles

In certain stages, the candy will float upward after touching an air bubble. This allows you to redirect its path and reach stars or platforms that would otherwise be out of reach.

You can also pop the bubble at the right time to adjust its direction of fall.
