Penguin Diner is a restaurant management game of a penguin Penny. Help the bird manage the workload well and efficiently to earn the most money.
General Introduction to Penguin Diner
- Penguin Diner is set in a cold, snowy land where there are restaurants serving penguins.
- Our main character is a penguin named Penny, whose job is to serve the tables of the restaurant.
- The situation of the game is that Penny is lost from her flock and has drifted to a distant, unfamiliar land. Penny must earn enough money to buy a plane ticket to return to her home in Antarctica.
To achieve that goal, Penny takes a job as a waitress at a local diner. This simple plot creates a clear and exciting motivation for the player: help Penny return home.
What does Penny need to do?
- When customers enter the diner, a green icon will appear above their heads, signaling that they are looking for a seat.
- You have to click (or tap) on Penny (your character), then click on an empty table.
- Try to put the customer on the nearest table to save Penny's travel time. The table near the kitchen area and the cashier is usually the most ideal table.
- After sitting down for a while, the customer will raise their fin, and a bubble with a food icon (e.g., fish, ice cream, soft drink) will appear above their head, along with a green patience bar that starts to decrease.
- Bring Penny near that table and click on the customer so that Penny can record the order. The order will be automatically transferred to the kitchen and displayed on the kitchen counter. Important: The waiting time starts from the moment the customer sits down, not when Penny comes to pick up the order.
Upgrade System and Goals
Daily Goals
- Each day, you must achieve a minimum revenue target (Target Goal).
- If you achieve your goal, you will advance to the next day (Level/Day), and the extra money will be accumulated into Penny's ticket home fund.
- If you fail, you have to play that day again.
Upgrades
- The money you earn can be used to buy upgrades that improve Penny's performance and the restaurant's service:
- Buy Skates: Make Penny move much faster, the most important upgrade.
- Buy a Jukebox or decorative items: Help customers relax and keep their patience longer.
- Buy Better Table Chairs: Customers will tip more when they sit down.
- Buy New Dishes: Can attract more customers or increase the order value.
