About Victory Lap Dash
Victory Lap Dash is a side-scrolling arcade game where I switch between cube, ship, and wave forms to dodge dangerous obstacles and reach the finish line.
What I find interesting about Victory Lap Dash is how quickly I have to adjust when my character changes form. I might be jumping over spikes one moment, then steering through a narrow tunnel the next. Buzzsaws, tall pillars, fire-breathing dragons, and even invisible hazards make it important to pay attention instead of assuming the path ahead is safe.
How to play Victory Lap Dash
Jump with precision
The cube sections are all about getting my jumps right. If I jump too early, I might land directly in front of a spike. If I wait too long, there may not be enough room to clear it. I try to watch the distance between obstacles and build a rhythm instead of mashing the mouse.
Fly through obstacles
When I transform into the ship, I need to control its height while moving through tight spaces. Spikes and buzzsaws can leave very little room for error, especially when pillars block part of the route.

Control the rhythm
The waveform moves diagonally up and down, which makes timing especially important.
- The left mouse button: used to jump or fly upward
Compared with Block Blast, where I need to plan how pieces fit together, Victory Lap Dash makes me focus more on reacting to the route and controlling movement at the right moment.
Two game modes
Normal mode
In Normal Mode, I attempt to complete the course from start to finish. I have to deal with every obstacle and transformation in order, so a mistake can mean repeating sections I have already passed. Remembering where a difficult transition occurs helps me prepare for another attempt.
Practice mode
Practice Mode in Victory Lap Dash lets me place gem checkpoints and work on troublesome sections without restarting the entire course each time. For example, if I can handle the cube section but keep crashing during a wave sequence, I can focus my practice on that part.
